Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ChatRefy.cv, including the website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account registration

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your account credentials secure, and promptly notify support if you suspect unauthorized account access.

2. Service description

ChatRefy.cv helps users refine resumes and CVs for specific job descriptions by combining user-provided materials, conversational context, and memory features that improve personalization over time.

• Upload or draft resume content.
• Paste or edit target job descriptions.
• Use AI-assisted chat, analysis, and recommendations.
• Apply suggested changes and export revised resume versions.

The Service is actively evolving. Any or all capabilities, workflows, pages, features, integrations, pricing mechanics, and user-interface elements may be modified, suspended, replaced, or removed at any time, with or without prior notice.

3. Credits, billing, and payments

ChatRefy.cv uses a credit-based model. Features may consume credits, and consumption rates may differ by feature and may change over time. Paid credits are purchased in one-time packs through approved payment providers. Pricing structures may also evolve over time, including the introduction of subscription-based plans.

• You authorize charges for purchases you complete.
• Taxes, currency conversion, and payment processor terms may apply.
• Credits are non-refundable once added to your balance, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, and not to engage in abuse, fraud, deception, subterfuge, circumvention, or any other conduct that undermines platform integrity, user trust, or legal compliance. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Violating laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering, security bypass, or service disruption.
• Uploading malicious code, abusive content, or unlawful material.
• Using automated abuse patterns that degrade platform integrity or availability.
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity, including impersonation or falsified identity/payment details.
• Using bots, scripts, or coordinated behavior to evade limits, evade enforcement, or manipulate billing/credits.
• Harvesting data, scraping content, or probing systems beyond normal permitted use.
• Attempting to conceal abusive conduct through subterfuge, obfuscation, account cycling, or third-party proxies.
• Copying, reproducing, distributing, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the Service or any part of it, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Assisting, encouraging, or enabling others to perform prohibited actions.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of your resumes, job descriptions, and other submitted content ("User Content"). You grant ChatRefy.cv a limited license to process User Content to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service for your account.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to provide User Content and that your content does not violate third-party rights.

6. AI-generated content and output quality

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all generated output before using it in job applications, legal documents, or other high-impact contexts.

7. Privacy and data handling

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Statement. By using the Service, you acknowledge those practices, including processing needed to deliver features such as memory, analysis, and account support.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, and content provided by ChatRefy.cv (excluding your User Content), is protected by intellectual property laws. Except where expressly allowed, you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Service materials.

9. Suspension and termination

ChatRefy.cv may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law, including for any reason and with or without prior notice.

Suspension or termination may occur if required to protect the Service, users, legal compliance, or platform security, including for material or suspected violations of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Where supported, account export and deletion options are available in-product or through support.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. ChatRefy.cv disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatRefy.cv and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates become effective when posted with a revised effective date. Material updates may also be communicated through in-product notice or email where appropriate.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you in your country of residence. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless local law in your jurisdiction requires another mechanism.
